Is it possible to find rares in quests now?

While I'm offline I'm wondering if I should be doing to the quests to lvl or just do the levels multiple times. I know in DC version you couldn't, but someone mentioned in another post that they used Heat Sword to figure out what rare drops were for his ID in forest. Will monsters drop rares in offline quests too?

Ya, you can find rares in quests.

This means you can pipe in and out of the rappy quest till a rare one shows up and get good items.

I can get a pal rappy in 20 min doing this.
