Salutations.

Eauijhkuu here.

I think when I watched the Fifth Element, I absolutely thought that this part was the only part during the entire movie that I was like "omg" at, especially when I heard later that the entire performance scene was filmed before a live audience.

Lucia Di Lammermoor is such an awesome opera. Fifth Element included Part Two, Act Two, N. 14 Scena ed aria, "O giusto cielo!", and then a completely interesting techno/disco/classical piece called "Diva Dance" of which voice range is crazy unbeliveable.

The opera singer, Inva Mula-Tchako, who sang Plavalaguna's performance is incredible for actually singing those pitch ranges at such an incredibly fast beat.

Listen to it yourself (Realplayer is required for this version)

I was watching fifth element on TV the other day, and right before the diva scene (which I really wanted to see again, since it's been so long) my mom decided she couldn't stand the movie and made me change the channel... bleh...
