I don't have the ketboard but I just bought a 56k modem. I keep getting an error message (user name/password)...I -think- I typed my password correctly. Reason why I -think- so is because I can't tell what one of the characters are on my screen. I NEED (`) character to input my pass. Please don't tell me that that button is not available!!! Help please!!!

The (') symbol should be right beside the quotation marks on the first 'set' of soft keyboard buttons, but there is another one that looks EXACTLY like it 2 spaces down from the quotation mark...try that one too...

Welp, fuck PSO now. That (`) character, under the (~) character is not fucking there. My pass has the (`) in it. Bullshit. All this money I fucking wasted for nothing. I probably have to get a new dial-up ISP, hoping that it doesn't have a (`)...bullshit in the password... The in game keyboard has it, but not the Modem one. Bull-fucking-shit. Fuck PSO.

The password I have is AFTER Dialguard... I'm pretty sure the pass'll be the same even if I change my pass on the ISP's site.

Doesn`t switching your language to something other than English provide you with a different software keyboard? Maybe one of the other languages includes that character.

umm there IS a (`) symbol i used it to make my force get pinkal ID in the Defualt software KB look on the TOP row of numbers AFTER (0) its the thrid one after 0

Make sure you are going to the second layer of the software keyboard, there is the letters and a second with symbols. It is there.

The ` symbol is only in the *in-game* soft keyboard. The web browser's soft keyboard - where you enter your ISP's password - doesn't have it.

The hard keyboard has `, as shift-@.

The language setting doesn't affect the web browser at all.
