The old thread kinda died so I'm posting the finished work in a new one. These were shown at Anime Weekend Atlanta last weekend and turned out to be very popular. There were a ton of PSO/PSU fans there so maybe we'll see you online.

The vest and Jacket were made outta vinal and we wore regular workout pants for the both of us. The weapons were constructed outta wood and we used plexiglass for the blades. Originally we just had green glow in the dark paint on the blades, but they weren't green enough for what we had planed so we used floresent paint. Cool thing was that they still would glow a little in the dark. Just to point out we know the costumes weren't perfect and are well aware of the things we left out.

Excellent work, DjDragoon! I'm very impressed! Tell me, are you planning to go to any cons or other events to show off what you've done?

MomoCon is one, unless there are other events happening in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Read first post. If you really want to know, you can buy the vest/pants belts at any fabric store. For the vest we used buttons and painted them blue and the jacket has metal clips for the hood draw string.

That'd actually be a cool idea to go as the guy in the Episode One mission who dressed up as a Rappy. Dr. Somebody...

man... that looks really well done....
Do you perchance of close up shots of some of the pieces of clothing? particularly the beast's vest, and Ethan's jacket. I would like to see how they look up close, because it looks great from way back here!

Man, this makes me really wanna attempt to cosplay psu/pso... but I would have no idea where to begin when it comes to assembling the costume. @___@

Nice, those are very well done and certainly must have taken some time to create. Major kudos.

Well done, DJDragoon. Nice to know conventions rake in the PS fans-At least we know people are psyched for PSU.

I hope you had fun, and awesome job on both the costumes and weapons.

Awesome job, guys! Did you use fabric paints at all, or is everything sewn fabrics? We're working on a PSU group for Acen in May (good excuse to use the vacuform table http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif), and as soon as I get the PSU artbooks, I'll be making solid resin cast handguns.

Hope to see more PSU cosplay!

Very nice. This does inspire me a bit more to try to make clothes like my PSU character. Too bad I can never make enough money to make my own clothes to match my characters...oh well. Again, good job!
