Hello, everyone! I just downloaded and signed up for PSOBB to enjoy until PSU comes out (can't wait!) First of all the client never remembers my login info, even though I have it checked. Secondly, I have had it for 3 days now and haven't been able to get in... it always says that the server is undergoing maintenance. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

My firewall/antivirus is off. Is there anything else I can do?

EDIT: Ok. I've checked the main site and set my ports. I also enabled my router to accept PSO. It's wierd, because I can connect to the patch server, it can check to make sure my login info is correct, but I can't connect to the game.

Maybe the server really is under maintenance? XD

Nope, the game's been up fine, so something else must be your problem. I know you've set the ports, but have you added them all (there was an announcment a while back to say the port numbers had changed).

Other than that, I really don't know what else to suggest.

Wow... I figured it out. I was entering my billing info instead of my user name... >.<

But why not tell me "incorrect login" instead of misleading me by saying the server is under maintenance!

Anyway, the game seems really fun, and if PSU is the same type of thing but with better graphics and a lot more to do, then I'll be hooked.

Expect me to be hanging around here for a while... hehe

Remember that PSO is almost 6 years old compared to the... er... 5 weeks? of PSU.
