That's right. Mathematical art is what this is. For those of you who haven't heard of fractals, or fractal art, I would recommend to look those up on wikipedia. As such, I'm not going to get into the particulars here, I'm just here to share the art.
One thing to note about these pictures is that they are 1680 pixels wide and either 1050 or 1022 pixels tall. If you have a non-widescreen monitor they will probably stretch out too much to use. However, I expect to re-do some of these, if not all, in more common formats. I just wanted some wallpapers in my monitor's native resolution.
These are my first fractal pieces and I still have a whole slew to learn. Also, the smallest picture is a little over 1MB. So, if you have a rather slow connection or have limited bandwidth you might want to view just one or two.
The first one is called Two O'clock. I called it that because one of the things it reminded me of was a clock at about two o'clock. It also reminded me of a coiled snake with fangs. In the end it came out rather dark and also reminded me of Doom 3.

This one is called X-boxes. I really did hardly anything for this one other than tweak the colors and add a couple additional triangles. I thought it came out perfect for a green and black desktop. It somewhat reminds me of a basket or woven material.

This one is my favorite thus far. It just flows so well. Again, I'm beginning so it wasn't anything overly fancy, but I ended up liking the result so much I completed my task and this was made my wallpaper. I call it Zen Dragon. It reminded me of both the fluid motions of a Chinese dragon as well as a play I saw not too long ago that was set in a Chinese atmosphere by both the lines and especially the colors.

This one is called Cross-Eyed. For one reason, it lookes like a crossed out eye. The other, it makes me go cross-eyed from the colors. This one was made with an entirely different program and took far longer to compile than the others. It's not really good as a wallpaper, but it works as something neat to look at.
