Nah, Im on my 360 24/7 and they always put stuff on really early..

And I have only had my 360 since the day it was released so ya..

Maintenence and Uploads vary in times. It usually takes place either at 12 Midnight (Pacific time GMT -8) or 4 PM (GMT -8). Its possible that we could see it late tonight, but most likely it will take place at 4 PM. The don't release items on weekends, meaning Saturdays and Sundays.

yeah XBL usually updates aorund 2 am eastern .. but the guy at the official site hinted at a late afternoon release..

You're right about late afternoon releases. During E3, there were several late afternoon, late night releases throughout the week. So this may be unpredictable.

We got demos during tgs during the weekend didn't we?

Remember, Japan is a day ahead of us. Releases on Sunday were made available on Monday in Japan, which Mondays are usual days to post updates.

...It's a safe bet that it won't be out until at least midnight, Pacific time. That's still just over an hour from now...

Even then, it probably won't be uploaded at the stroke of midnight. I don't know when exactly they do their normal updates but, eh, I'm just as anxious as anyone else to get my hands on the beta and play the hell out of it, so I'll probably be keeping an eye out, and checking every hour or two.
