You probably won't see subforums for each of the consoles. The only difference between each of the forums would be the player-base. The vast majority of the topics would be the same. As such, we don't plan on breaking the forums down by console.

There will, however, be additional forums for PSU, created as need becomes apparent.

I'm wondering how apparent the need has to be, right now PSU General has six times more topics replied to today than any other forum, I have to go back to page 4 in order to find topics that were replied to yesterday, while in FKL, the bottom half of page 1 has 10/12 dated topics, and thats the 2nd most active forum

I suppose we could create a second one now and name them PSU Beta Craze forum 1 and PSU Beta Craze forum 2 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Seriously, though, as we begin to see more of the types of topics that really require a forum of their own, we'll add the needed forums. It may be tomorrow, or it might be after the beta is over. Don't worry, we'll make sure things get organized and well taken care of.

I guess the whole 'Floating Sticky' type thing works to some degree within the PSU forum, perhaps if the thing was re-labelled as some kind of "INFORMATIVE PSU THREADS" or something, people wouldn't overlook it so much.

What with the beta and all, all of the "what r u gunna be?", "hey is game good for play?", "POLL: is my butt big in this shield line?" type gossip seems to have exploded everywhere, while a few informative topics are cropping up amongst it all and getting eaten. Perhaps if the floating topic was better arranged to cover more threads? Y'know, kinda like the on-site FAQ but with links to threads, even if not for chatting but as an actual hard information resource (so you could always lock certain topics linked) - so some sort of sections setup for 'General', 'Gameplay' and things. At least until sub-forums are eventually created. It might even help slightly with data mining for new sections and off-site info hubs (PSUpedia and places).

I dunno. But regardless, here's some suggestions for additions to it, because my bookmark list is getting hueg liek Xbox.

Gameplay
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=121267&forum=20 - Expert class weapon distribution and stat details
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=119181&forum=20 - Statistic and class comparison (not sure on the whole 'talkability' here without another "Newman Hunter" topic, but it's a great treasure trove full of info, especially page 2)
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic=120496&forum=20 - Weapon speed research

Problem Solving
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=121325&forum=20 - Useful fix for 360 Beta connection problems (might roll over in to final? I wouldn't put it past Sega :p)

Misc

My topic on the Ranger class that outlines many things:

Level Data research that people are working on to show TNL and total exp each lv etc etc

--==The Big A** XBL Gamertag list==-- V. 1.13 (Post your gt, timezone, and experience) For the Xbox community

There are many good topics out there but its flooded with all types of repeat topics...I do agree with there being some type of subforum for like PMs(Partner Machines), Questions and Screenshots maybe. Its becoming increasing hard to find topics that were created a day ago or even an hr before because of all the new posts that are basically the same thing over and over. Just my thoughts.

I will suggest more later when I can find them.

Also to point out how bad it is getting on the the PSU General forums, topics that was create yesterday are now on Page 4, slowly towards Page 5. Its becoming hard to get decent topics in now without it being Xbox related.

PSU General seems is too damn busy. I say, make some sub-forums soon...that's my 2 cents. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Indeed, we know. As mods we are more aware of it than most. Everyone should try to put it up a bit more.
