I'm in abit of a situation, and I need some help. Right now we have Insight broad band, and I bought a Linksys wireless router to go with it. I had origionally planed on bringing the modem and router in my room however, it has to stay in it's current place for the rest of the family.

What is the cheapest way to use the wireless for my PS2(I have a wireless card for my desktop). Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

plug your ps2 into your desktop, just share the connection.

Well I cant offer a wireless solution....but if its not too far from where you play PS2 you can use the old long ass cord method http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I wish the "long ass" cord methood would work. To do so however, would mean running it through serveral rooms.

The wirless gaming adapters are like $100, and I don't have that to spend atm.

If your PC has a wireless card, then why must the router stay in that room?

Isn't possible to connect the PS2 to the PC and get connection that way?

My stepdad has two computers hooked up in their room(where the router is currently located), I have to use the wireless because he's not fond of using it.

so in room A is the wireless router and his two PCs, room B is where your PC is and room C is where you want the ps2?

so then just buy a crossover cable and get the connection from your PC since it has wireless.
