Anyone get their Soundtrack Yet?

I went to my local gamestop right now to pre order the game and they didn't have the soundtrack yet, he said they could possibly have it in the back somewhere though..

but the guy working there called another local gamestop and they had it in. I just told him i'd pick it up friday/sat if they got it or the 25th when he said I could pick up the game.


I was kinda bummed i really wanted to walk out with a soundtrack oh well http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif The wait for the game is killing me i figured i could atleast cope easier with the sounds of PSU.

I've yet to preorder from GameStop (I will, though!), but I have to ask; do any of you LIKE the soundtrack? It's so repetative, unlike PSO... maybe I just got spoiled from Custom Soundtracks, but really!

honestly, i really just want the soundtrack so i can listen to it 24/7 while stareing at my clock hopeing it makes these last days go by faster =)

But i actually like elevator Jpop music! The soundtrack to PSU, the couple tracks ive heard, kick ass!

On another note, I actually like PSU's soundtrack (I've heard a couple songs, but I haven't gotten my soundtrack yet. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif I'm assuming that I'm getting it when my shipment with PSU comes in). I seem to be one of the few that actually likes the theme song (You know, that "Save this World" song). Maybe it's because of my pre-release jibbilies. I'm craving this game like I crave some girls in my life (now, before you think this is pervy...it's kinda lonely here at my college; it's 88% male here. >.O). Maybe that's why I 'm making a female main.

But! I'm going way off-topic. Me likey soundtrack.

the soundtrack cover for our US version is just a smaller version of the actual game box cover. Nothing special. Atleast thats what it showed on gamestops website. And yes the JP cover looks real nice but thats the full actual soundtrack from what i understand. Ours is more of a promo version of the actual soundtrack. Regardless I NEED PSU NOW!

meh, I could care less whats on the cover... I got the soundtrack for the music, not just the cover.... yet.... I am a bit disappointed that the packaging is so cheap looking. Its in a disposable CD sleeve like some sort of AOL trial disk.

I went to EB the day before yesterday, and they said they had the music CD in stock, but weren't allowed to give them out because they're being released simutaniously with the Game.
I don't believe it.
That was the previous EB in the mall, worst one in town.
I'm checking the Gamestop in the upscale side of town today to see if I can get mines there.
I swore we could pick it up before the game was released.

I got mine. It's not to long, but it covers all the main songs. The main title, both lyrical and orchestral, the theme music for the three main cities and the guardians colony, and two mission end themes.

Is there a way to get the CD if your Gamestop ran out of them? I'm short on cash but I have just enough funds for the pc version and an xbox 360 controller in store credit so taking up a reserve else where is out of the question. And I don't believe in reserving at another store, getting the CD and never returning. I wouldn't feel right... LOL can't believe I even thought of doing that for an hour before deciding against it.

My For Brighter Day finally arrived yesterday. My god. It's awesome. Much love. Brighter day indeed!

Tracks of note include The Last Story, Valentine (Valentine's event music, duh), RELICS, Kugu Desert, Z.C. Enemy 2 (SEED Magashi and a couple of other bosses tune), Brave Fight, Sadness, Floader, Rozenom Line Milate 04, The Vibe - The End of Planets (final boss), Galenigare Mine (there is some serious Sonic Adventure type vibe going on here), the vocal tracks of course, Christmas (it's like some strange SEGA meets Ragnarok Online tune), Mizuraki C.D...

Everything may as well be a 'track of note'. Included are all the lovely tracks from the Save This World CD. Unfortunatly, the bonus soundtrack is very, very, very dissapointing. Like about 7 to 10 songs on the disc I think (left CD in car because I was so unsatisfied). It features the Main Theme with lyrics and the orchresta version, the 4 player lobbies' theme, good and bad mission result songs, ending theme and there was another song or 2 maybe though I can't recall. It didn't have the cool songs I wanted to hear like the temple or subway areas. They didn't have the game there when I picked up the CD so I guess I'm gonna have to wait til wednesday.
