I started playin Megaman when they got to #7 in the original series and i was hooked. Megaman has been always interesting and everchanging from scrolling action like so many of them to 3D action like Command Mission. But i've been seeing less and less of Megaman lately and the only thing ive seen recently was the new Megaman for the Nintendo DS. I'm not sure but, could this be the end for Megaman? I really don't want it to end.

Well the megaman game on the DS "Megaman ZX" is set after the "Zero" series and in true Capcom style im sure it will have atleast 3 or 4 secquels.

There's that PSP game "Mega Man Powered Up" (I think), that one's kinda recent, and from what I've seen, that looks more like an older side-scrolling Megaman title.

Judging from the SSs I've seen it looks very anime-ish, so the art style in the game is pretty different. Otherwise it looks like a regular old-school Megaman.

Though I haven't played it first hand, so don't quote me on anything.

Megaman Powered Up is just an upgraded version of THE ORIGINAL Megaman.

So far my favorite Megaman has to be the Battle Network series.
SO ADDICTING AND FUN. But I could go without the lame saturday morning anime storylines.

I liked most the X and Zero games.
the Zero series was one of the hardest to beat.

Cool, then I was right for the most part http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

And yeah, the Battle Network series is awesome, I just hate the fact that they've basically released the same game 6 times (They're up to #6 now, right?). I wish they'd change it up a little bit something, add something to the battle system, something...

Nah, Mega Man is still everywhere. They just don't get much attention anymore because most are rehashes of previous titles (coughBattleNetworkcough).

I enjoyed all of the series. My favorate was the X series, but I really enjoyed the original Zero (which I did not think was that difficult).

Yeah i didnt think the Zero series was that hard compared to the X series. The last bosses in Zero are tame compared to the X ones.

I can't wait to play Megaman ZX, as it seems very Megaman Zero style. I really hope it is, they were my favourite 2D Scrolling Megaman series.

My overall favourite Megaman series was the Battle Network series.

Actually, I really hate the original Megaman series, except Megaman 8. I just thought the whole series was terrible http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Megaman X started getting good at 4.

I hope Sigma finally dies and that X destroys Zero someday... I mean Zero is cool and all, but you know >_< fate is fate.
btw, Megaman X started getting good with #1 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif ... my least favorites are probably 5 and 6 (due to armors requiring all 4 parts before able to use) but I still like all of them.

To the OP, as long as there a demand for the Megaman franchise, it will never die. Infact, there is a new Battle Network-related series (oh joy -_-) that will start on the DS.

Oh, and I have always enjoyed the Classic, X, and Zero series myself. Completed Classic 1-8, X 1-6, Zero 1-3, and am currently working on Zero 4 (damn, that is fucking hard DX )

(Oh, and Zero is the best hidden character in SVC Chaos http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif )
