EB Games on wednesday?

I just called my local EB Games and they told me that we can't get our copies until wednesday! Anyone else hear different? Or was the sales guy just misinformed? I was planning on trading in a couple games to get it so that sucks because places like Wal-mart (who supposedly will have it Tuesday at 12am) obviously don't take the trade-ins.

No game stores get the game on the day of the ship. Except when its an extremely wanted game like KHII. Not dissing PSU but its not popular enough to be shipped and got on the same day.

Ah alright...I was hoping for tuesday. I just called a Gamestop (who is essentially the same company) and that guy told me they will have it Tuesday. Hopefully he is correct because I'm working wednesday

I plan to use my entire tank of gasoline to travel all around Houston to every Gamestop, EB Games, Gamecrazy, and Wally World to see if I can find it on tuesday. If nothing else, my Gamestop will have it on wednesday. >_>

Good luck. Cause it wont be at gamestop or EB until wednesday. My good friends work there and I got to look at the shipment schedule around all EB/Gamestops in Cali. Not sure if its like that for the other stores outside state.

Gamestores get in BIG TROUBLE for releasing games on shelves before they're supposed to be sold. Walmart, target and other stores will no longer be selling games made by sony or nintendo as of sometime next year for breaking this agreement. Good stuff

Ok i work at a gamestop, one or two things can happen and it is pretty random, either A) we get it early a day or two, like we did for madden and such, and or we get it the next day.

I'm going with a friend to Wal-Mart at 12PM Wednesday to pick up his copy. When we called to ask about it the slightly irritated employee promptly told us that we were like 20th person to call and ask about the game.

Hopefully, I won't have to compete to get my copy like I did to get my 360... My jaw still hurts from when that guy knocked me down... x_x;

And other people have been told other things, and other sites say other things. I've ordered plenty of games before and been told "Yeah it'll be here on the ship date" just to find out I have to wait an extra day or two.

Thats happened to me alot too. My EBGames told me they'll get it the 25th, so thats when I'm expecting it, if they happen to get it on the 24th even better for me.

FF12 and NWN2 being two highly wanted games. Both on Release date for them.
