Yeah, I'm a bit excited they were on SNL yesterday and they sang 2 songs. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif I can't wait to get me and iPod Nano so I can download some of their songs.

Normally I don't really like MCR like at all... But I kinda dig the song "The Black Parade"... Still I can't say I'm excited about the album. Then again... I almost never buy albums...

I think I'll probably download it, or at least parts of it. I'm not a big fan of My Chemical Romance, but at times they bear a slight resemblance to the band Muse, which is a group I do like very much.

I'm ashamed they shortened that song here http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Anyways, I'm not that big a fan of MCR (and all the screaming fangirls scare me >.>). Welcome To The Black Parade was a fairly decent song, but not one I'd rush out and buy.

I saw them in concert right as they were blowing up, for free.

It was an interesting show to say the least. I can't say that I will buy the album, but I will probably download it and see if it is actually worth buying.

Whilest I'm not their biggest fan, I do enjoy MCR, ecspcially the last album.
Kind of dissapointed in the new album, though I did enjoy it. Kinda sad that they've lost a bit of that 'pop' edge (to an extent) and the songs aren't quite as catchy and 'fun' as they used to be. They've matured and become a little more seriouse, yet have lost something because of it. Still good though, just not as good in my eyes/ears anyway.
"Three cheers for revenge" will still take priority over it in my CD player.

Regardless of all this, it's still early days and it may grow on me more. I've just Booked tickets to see them in march actually. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
Hopefully I'll know all the words to the new tracks by then.

I am a HUGE fan of MCR and their album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. I haven't heard much of The Black Parade, "Welcome to the Black Parade" is an okay song but my all time favs are HELENA, AND I'M NOT OKAY, OMFG!!!!!!!!

I've seen this topic floating around for a while and I have been wanting to comment on this album but I could never find the right words to explain how I felt, that was untill I saw Kizarugu's post.

I think it is an awesome album although I do agree that alot of the songs arn't as catchy as the ones in "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge". I also agree that bands sound seems to have matured ( and I feel they have gained somthing from this ) but at the same time I also feel that they have also lost somthing. Unfortunatly that somthing is what made "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" such a memorable album.
