Normal Mode:

1. Leaning how to do 3-hit combos can make you life a lot easier.

2. Blowing a 3-hit combo with lots of enemies around can make your life a lot harder

3. Cooldown times suck.

4. Always always ALWAYS bring telepipes!

Hard Mode:

1. Doing 3-hit combos face-to-face with bad guys is no longer a Good Idea.

2. Blowing a 3-hit combo with lots of enemies around can make your life a lot shorter.

3. Mags make a big difference.

4. Ooooh... first rares!

Very Hard Mode:

1. Meseta is worthless.

2. Some rares are actually worthless junk.

3. The right combo of units, weapons, armor and mag can turn a relatively ordinary character into a GOD.

4. Online quests are a good place to get cool stuff.

Ultimate Mode:

1. Humility

Yeah, but eventually, even FOnewearls can amass hundreds of thousands of Meseta. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yep, I'm getting XBOX PSO the day it comes out...whenever that is. -_- Hope to see you and many other PSOWers there. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Forces generally never have a full bank when it comes to money, but it isn't too hard for 'em to spend economically and get over M300,000. If they only play online, though, never sell junk items, and use nothing but RA techs and support techs...well, then they're usually flat broke. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Excellent Insight. Are you new to PSO or a DC vet?

I used to play a FOnewearl offline all the time...Once I reached a level at which I could go through the Mines long enough to fill my inventory with junk, Meseta became pointless. In Normal mode, that. All it takes is a single trip through there, economically using recovery items and not going overboard with tech use, and one can amass a small fortune. Once you can do that, Meseta is useless in all levels, because a simple mine-run can restore one's fortunes within a matter of a half hour or so.

'course, now that I'm using a RAmarl I've got more than four times the amount of meseta I used to, and this is with me having forgotten to deposit 100000 or more before facing bosses from time to time, and losing it.

Yeah, my avatar tells all. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I play as a technique-only FOnewearl. Because, hey, if you're going to be a Force, you should play as a *Force*! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

My technique use has always been somewhat conservative, especially considering that until the GC version came out I nearly always played a FOnewearl. I'm not really sure why I don't usually use techniques except as a last resort, but that style of play made the game as another class seem SO much easier. (I randomly picked the "cutest" class the first time I played...how was I supposed to know it was one of the hardest?)

Heh. And why not? If I gotta watch my character run around through the entire game, why not make it someone I can enjoy watching run around? The HUnewearls are...well, a little...uh...

Ahem. But the FOnewearls are nice and cute. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
