Question About Merges

So I figured out that I blend BLUE BARRIER and Amplifier of Barta to get a BARTA MERGE... which is pretty swanky and looks cool.

I just found RED BARRIER. I would instantly cram the Amplifier of Foie into it if I had not found another item: Amplifier of Yellow that says it boosts all Zonde attacks. Should I merge the RED BARRIER with the Amplifier of Foie or try to find an Amplifier of Red? I hardly ever use Foie but I use Gifoie constantly... I wish I was online.

It's best to combine the Colored Barriers with the Amp. of the same color, this boost the power of that tech. class (Red = Foie, GiFoie, RaFoie) when compaired to what the "tech" merges do (which just give it a boost in range).
