short characters

you are the shortest height, how do you compare to a fully evolved PM are you same size or what? any1 know?

Also, character height correlates somewhat to age, at least for shortness. Minimum shortness = child, from what I've read.

So no more PSO-Midget-HUmars.

Yeah that's what it seems to be. They look younger the smaller they are to me. Which leads me to wanting to make a kid for one of my characters.

And I used to bitch about the overly small characters >_<

May be just me, but the smaller characters seem to move faster then large ones. It might just be the steps, I also noticed I got knocked down hella when I was a baby beast, but the taller version I didnt get knocked down as often, might be just random iono.

So true, in PSO it seemed like almost everyone was either max height or mini-me height. My RAmarl was just about average height, which I thought woulda been 'average' but I actually stuck out not being the tallest and not being the shortest.

I may do the same with my beast hunter this time around too.

Well, this way, it allows my main character to be a little bit closer to what the actual character he's made after is. I know, I didn't care at all about aesthetics in PSO, as I played a full height RAmar, which had little to no visual connection to the actual character, and making a short RAmar, well, doesn't turn out very well at all.

At least in PSU I can make him short (not minimum, though) and he'll actually look somewhat like a kid now, instead of some middle-aged midget. Of course, you CAN still do that, too.

Well, the cat-girl thing comes pretty easy since the cat-ears is a regular accessory.

Technically, I wanted my character to be somewhere in that teen height. Short, but more of a under-average short. In PSO, particularly on the Japanese servers, it was like a doll festival, especially with forces. So many mini-people.

I think I'll stick with my character height, idea. There's a story behind the character, and I think I'll try to stick with those ideals. While it wouldn't stick out so much in RL, it's probably going to stick out a bit more in PSU.

i remmeber back in the day someone mad a short overly fat HUmar and joined my game, he sported a red costume and his name was Mario, and kept doing a emote macro "It's a meee a mariooooooo!"...couldn't stop laughing loooollll
