That sums up my local Walmart experience everytime I try to buy a new game from them. I'm not even going to waste my time asking...if its not on the shelf I'll go elsewhere, I've had enough Walmart employee dumbassedry to last a lifetime.

I plan on hitting up my local Walmart, Target, Ebgames sometime tommorrow morning/afternoon (whenever I can get the hell out of bed) to see if there are any copies available. Next will be the Gamestop, Bestbuy, etc. near my work should that fail.

Seriously, I'd feel like a crackhead if I left my house right now to go look for a copy of PSU at Walmart.

Wal-Mart, 6:30 EST. I got nuthin'. There was an employee opening boxes in the electronics section, but she didn't seem to know anything about the games. She said something along the lines of them not ordering games, but that they just show up, like growing out of the shelves or something. Not very helpful. None of the boxes looked like PC games, so I left and I'll try again later.

This is exactly why I have new releases delivered to my office. I don't have to waste valuable time and energy (and gas) roaming the city or calling stores just to find out that I was mistaken or I had been lied to. Instead, through the magic of the United Postal Service, the game suddenly appears on my desk 1-3 days after its release.

I however do remember as a child being overly excited around release day for several games, now it's sort of amusing to me watching other people go through the same thing. Of course there are more gamers now, and the internet greatly accelerates the flow of information so it's a lot easier to stay excited.

I just checked my local Walmart, midnight on the 25. It's not on the shelves, and the manager was out that night so the guy "in charge" didn't have the authority to go in the back and check for it. Bah. I went to Col. City and they didn't have it either. Said to check back at 8am when either someone with the authority to check the warsaw store is in, or when the UPS truck comes to the Col. City store.
