So i'm trying to buy something on eBay, and the seller prefers paypal. That's okay, i've used my credit card on paypal for two other games and figured there wouldn't be any problem. I click pay and log into my paypal account. i enter my card info and i get this:



That card number is already assigned to another PayPal account. For security purposes, each card may only be assigned to one PayPal account. If you have already opened a PayPal account, please retrieve the relevant information and log in. Otherwise, please use a different card.


I don't have another account, and i've used this credit card on this account before. WTF.

Any suggestions? I already informed the seller of this problem, so i have a bit of time to figure it out.

I can't imagine you could sort it out at another place.
Call your credit card company too to let them know the deal also.

I've contacted the seller, eBay and Paypal. I hope i'll get a response by the time i check my e-mail tommorrow afternoon.

I now suggest go to sleep and wake up. Contact the necessary people when you wake up.

Repeat until the problem is solved.

I bought a bike about three weeks ago and paypal was a huge pain. Somehow my bank account got removed, and when I tried to fix it, I had to go through a process with my bank. For security purposes I guess that's good, but it was a huge pain in my asse.
