Big patches don't bother me, at least there's is a simple direct download (unlike those messy, at least for my, torrent dl's Bliz uses... eesh). What confuses me is how can us pc users need a 100+mb patch when a ps2 mem card can only hold 8mb max?

5. Game not loading properly for some people

Patches aren't an issue. It's and online game.

I'm sure by now most of you can assume ST is also involved when someone says Sega.

ok... i see but one thing i have noticed is that sega ignores almost every sonic team project. sega doesn't really do crap.(correct me and prove me wrong. i just wanna pin the tail on something specific cause i want channel my anger to someone)lolz

I whole heartedly agree about the anti-aliasing. Imported (and still playing) the JP version and it really bugs me sometimes. Running it in 1024x768 and lower makes the game look like a badly compressed JPEG.

That's because it was designed around the specs of the PS2

What I started doing was dropping the resolution to 640 and playing it through my tv via svideo out. This gives it the native tv resolution and because it isnt an hd tv it washes it out enough to not look as pixelated.

Maybe you should try that?

My grievance... we are not up to date with the JP version. At all. I feel like it's Beta 2... only... only... our characters shouldn't be deleted after a week.

My local Gamestop has run into a shipping delay it seems. I was pretty pissed about it, as they had the Ps2 version right there, all ready to go. The clerk spent about 5-10 minutes just trying to check around, but to no avail. I havn't called around to other stores, such as Target or Best Buy, though that's mainly due to me having a fully paid pre-order at that Gamestop. Hope I still get a soundtrack with the game.

If the game doesn't come with a month free trial, then Sega is giving us all the short end of the stick. I just blew $60 on the game itself, damn it.

Just a quick bump so the whin--err, PC PSU players can focus all their drama into one focal point. One thread on this is enough, hmm?

Ok... I was only planning on buying PC version so it would look better, but was gonna play it on 1280/1024. From what you wrote, playing it on 1024/768 would look a lot like ps2? If so, is it gonna be worth the difference on PC at 1280/1024??

It works well at 1280x1024. It's just anything below that it begins to suffer visually.

Delayed shipping?

The game came on time for me, if it SHIPS on the 24th why would you even expect it before the 25th? Seems silly to expect it so fast.

I'm with you on that one. I dont like it when PC games now dont have widescreen support option. It's kinda annoying to have to see it cropped. Unless someone makes a fix for it like Silent Hill 3 on the PC to make it play widescreen

Actually, he was reffering to another persons complaint, so it IS on topic.

As for me, I can't evcen get my game to load. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

My complaint is that the game isn't even working for me today. All it is doing is loading up a black screen and locking my system up.

You know, I noticed those things too. First thing I noticed was how light and unappealing the packaging was - I mean just an instruction booklet and an envelope.

And no anti-aliasing = bad. Baaad.

1. Ok
2. No it wasnt

Server Errors/Inconveniences:
1. Happens to every online game when first released
2. See above
3. See above
4. This is a good thing, why are you complaining

Game Errors/Inconveniences:
1. Ok
2. Only happens for some
3. Only happens for some
4. Ok

The Oks I agree with.

Shipping wasnt delayed, by SEGA atleast, they were all shipped out the 24th, nuts to you if your store didnt recieve it that day.

Anything listed in the Server Errors is wrong, it can be prevented, yes, but every single online game on its first day or two of releases goes through this. Its not worth the money to add another server or two to support this just for a 1 day problem, deal with it. And complaining about a patch? Please never play an online game again. It only took 15minutes anyway.

The two game erros only happen to the PCs that cant handle it, not a SEGA problem, its your own.

The only oddity ive seen is when set on high settings it lags offline when there is cut in chat, but works fine online, go figure.
