Time to dispel another myth!

You do NOT need to click on your mission results screen to claim your mission reward. You get it whether you look at it or not.

I created a brand new character, ran through the tutorial, then took a screenshot before clicking on the mission results:

And a screenshot of after I clicked on it:

As you can see, I got my job experience point in both shots from completion of the tutorial. There you are, folks.

I don't see a difference?

Or is that the point. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I'm sorry, but I don't see the difference either, LOL.

If you want a numerical test, check your meseta before you finish a trial, and after you're in the lobby to see whether or not you got the money.

The point is the bar should have been empty right? Therefore you don't have to see your results

I noticed this in 360 beta when I ran into Inventory -> Status to check exp/meseta post mission completion, before selecting the mission status screen.

The money was already in there for the corresponding Rank earned.

The pics are the same AFAIK. Maybe that's your point, but I could care less. I like seeing the bars go up.

that is the point the pics are suppose to be the same. the point is you dont have to check your mission rating to get the experience or money

the point is that you dont have to actually talk to the npc to get the rewards, once its done - the mission/quest - the item/rewards you receive will instantly be awarded to you

Maybe they changed this, but in the PC beta, you didn't get your rewards without going to the mission results... I missed out on a bunch before I realized that it was happening. Hopefully it's something that they have now fixed http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

A series of images tell the story and makes things concrete:

http://synbios.net/games/PSU/proof3.jpg
http://synbios.net/games/PSU/proof4.jpg
http://synbios.net/games/PSU/proof5.jpg

As you can see, checking your results isn't required, so no one has to fear missing out on their mission reward.

Also, level 3 Rising Strike achieved, Omega Acid, and Kubara Wood obtained.

Oh, dur, now I get it. I forgot that it was your very first mission and that you would've started with an empty bar, so I didn't understand the original before and after shot. LOL

I'm surprised I'm the only person to know what's -really- wrong with this picture:

Parn's wearing a shirt.

I suppose wearing a shirt for a while would be a nice change of pace, though.

We know still looked at the screen! You just did it in between screen shots! *kidding*

Hahahaha! I knew you did not have to do that. People kept telling me online that you would not get the points for the mission if you did not click on that screen before leaving the mission.

That's somewhat surprising! I guess I'll save those extra 5 seconds for something else!

hes showing before and after he clicked it. it didn't change meaning you get your rewards before you click on mission complete thing not after.
