Alright, so far with a little experimentation, I've discovered a handful of settings that you PC users can take advantage of to input "custom" settings that aren't found through the in-game menu.

(It took a little mining through some Japanese sites, and my Japanese sucks, but I'm documenting what I've got so far. I'll update this thread as I learn more.)

Start by locating the "Psu.ini" file in your application data directory:

For you expert Windows users, it's:
%USERPROFILE%Local SettingsApplication DataSEGAPHANTASY STAR UNIVERSE

What this means:
"%USERPROFILE%" is the directory your personal data (Start Menu, Documents, etc.) are stored. For example, if my Windows login name is "preyx", I'll be able to locate it in "C:Documents and SettingspreyxLocal SettingsApplication DataSEGAPHANTASY STAR UNIVERSE"

Open up Psu.ini with your favorite text editor. (Notepad works just fine here)

Look for the section of the file labeled [screen]

RESOLUTION is the screen resolution the game operates at, so far I have:
0 = 640x480
1 = 800x600
2 = 1024x768
3 = 1280x1022 (Monitors use 1280x1024, but I guess that's how Sega coded it)

WINDOW_MODE determines if the game runs in windowed mode or not:
0 = Full Screen
1 = Windowed

COLOR_MODE I assume determines whether the game runs in 16-bit or 32-bit color mode
0 = ???
1 = ??? (Need further experimentation)

VSYNCWAIT is the vSync setting
0 = no vSync (you may get the "tearing" you see on other games)
1 = vSync (smoother, but may impact your framerate)

Now onto the section labeled [gamepad1]

Here you can alter the button assignments related to your gamepad.

BUTTON_A,B,X,Y,L1,R1,L2,R2,L3,R3,SELECT,START can all be altered to match your particular gamepad's button configuration.

Remember that B, A, X, Y, correspond to right, down, left, up, respectively on an XBox360 gamepad (which I assume this was designed for).

All the other sections/settings are currently unknown.
