Questing the only way?

So I was just wondering if the only way to do fighting with parties is through missions or can you just do like a free roaming to go and fight the bosses like in PSO?

Well, everything you do counts as a 'quest/mission.' You can do missions that sut involve completing the area and killing the boss though.

So basically you work your way up to the boss of the area? And where do you start missions at? I am lvl 4....
