According to Wiki, GameGuard may not be so good for your PC security.

What is GameGuard doing when it's connecting to the net?

It can't be checking for pirate copies considering there's no CD key with the game.

I think its supposed to be a security measure...

And wiki can be tampered with for malicious intent... so try to double check by looking a few versions back.

Interesting. If somebody hacked gamegaurd, they would have full access to your system to do whatever they wanted.

Didn't some 16 year old kid boast that he could hack NASA. Then he actually did it..

That or I made that memory up entirely.

You are safe. Gameguard does this so you can't hide your hacking programs with a Gameguard killer. It's a safeguard for it.

There is no escape, don't even bother to hack, that's all.

Someone didn't bother reading my carefully prepared memo on commonly-used passwords. Now, then, as I so meticulously pointed out, the four most used passwords are: love, sex, secret, and god.

Hopefully someone will get that.
