Here's mine:

Beating GoldenEye(N64) on 00 Agent for all missions, unlocked all 23 codes, and got the 007 save file that lets you change enemy health and accuracy.

Unlocking everything in the original Super Smash Bros took quite a while...

Oh, or perhaps my nearly perfect complete file on Majora's Mask. I'm missing just one bottle and a handful of Heart Pieces.

ouch, I could never beat the 2nd to last level (i think that was the one) on 00 agant or get the unlimited ammo cheat from that dang facility trial...

I'm trying to think what my greatest would be... Nope, nothing sticks out at the moment...

Coincidentally, that's the only game I've ever finished.
Well, I technically finished Planescape: Torment this summer, but the ending was so shittastic I am just pretending it didn't happen.

On the other hand, though I almost never finish games, I am obsessive about doing all the side quests I can get my hands on in RPGs. I just can't bring myself to complete the final chapter or battle the final boss or whatever.

Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, 100.0% complete rating.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Boss Battle Extra Mode- Beat Metal Gear Ray in 22 seconds, Vamp in around 30 seconds, if memory serves. I know I was ranked on the fastest-cleared list at about 120th. I had a friend who was 8th...

Went for 57 stages on Bloody Roar 4 in Survival mode, and only quit because the COM couldn't beat me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif , oh, and beat a medium level COM player in 4 seconds. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Done everything in Front Mission 3, except get Jose as a usable pilot.

Recorded one of the fastest known speeds on Gran Turismo 3, beating a Magazine's top speed. (Was a while back, but I think their speed was around 1250km/h, I recorded somewhere in the region of 1430km/h- using the 'wheelie' setup, but so did the Magazine http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif )

Those are the ones I remember, heh. I play games too much.

Ah... Well, I don't consider anything in most of my games too remarkable. I generally don't beat most of my games either as most simply don't hold interest to me after a while. The few that do I play to death. I guess some of the moments are with the old Half-Life Deathmatch Classic, or Opposing Force Deathmatch, way back before Steam came out I played those to death. The most 'awesome' moment was where I was trapped in a bathroom stall in OpFor DM and a guy came in and killed me with the Gluon Gun. I spawn down the hall, run up to him pillaging my corpse, and kill him in a single shot with the 9mm Pistol to the back of the skull. He instantly broke down laughing and said, "LOL Awesome comeback!" Or something like that. It happened years ago.

The thing that I think was the coolest I ever did in a game though was back on Age of Empires II: The Conquerors in which I would create my own scenarios to challenge myself. One in particular consisted of a gigantic island in the center of the map that had approximately 1500 enemy units, 150 enemy castles, and well over 200 towers of assorted types. Meanwhile I started out with but one Cataphract hero and a town center. The end result was always between 10 and 15 hours straight of battling in which I won. (I made sure the enemy had all technologies through the scenario editor so that the castles had around 10000 HP a piece and towers averaged over 2000)

astuarlen
Oct 30, 2006, 09:52 PM
Heh, my scenarios in AoE II always sucked. ;p
But I do remember this one time Ensemble (I think) held a contest for the most scenic custom map. I, of course, entered, and though I didn't win I did get mentioned on their site for my map. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Being in a family of Sonic fanatics, being the first to get all 130 Emblems in Sonic Adventure before my brothers did on SA:DX (So I gots teh Metal Sonic http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif)

I'm currently the main tank for a Blackwing Lair farming guild on World of Warcraft, though that'll quite likely be changing soon. It was cool because I helped learn through the content as opposed to riding coattails or what have you, so as far as video games go I'd consider it an accomplishment.

Also, if I could ever, EVER beat Master's Play on Gitaroo Man, that'd definitely be in my top video game accomplishments... the hardest stage continues to be mean to me.

My brother (You know, house of Sonic fans) did that; twice. First on the DC SA2, then our SA2 disc was scratched and unplayable, so we got SA2:B and he did it their too. Mmm, Green Hill.

I'd probably take a crack at it, but the all SRank ones would probably be out of my league.

Well it's been such a long time since I played Chrono Cross. But from what I remember, once you beat the game and get new game+, you will have the chance to fight the last boss from the start, and there are like 9 different endings depending on how far you are in the game. I don't remember what parts of the game you have to be at for each ending. Also there is the true ending, once you have the chrono cross you fight the last boss and have to do a color sequence in order to use it, don't remember what it was though.

Hope this helps.

Kevino
Nov 1, 2006, 09:00 AM
killing vivic is nice and all but soul trap him! its a beast for enchanting! trust me if you didn't you'll regret it. also do you have pants that constent effect levitate? and individual squares of the map the whole? ooh and the fork.

Shirokuro
Nov 1, 2006, 09:53 AM
The fork is pretty pointless but fun to kill people with just to say that you killed them with a fork lol. I thought that the last dwarf was the best thing to soultrap, gotta use Azura's Star though (Ah, I miss Morrowind) http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I dunno about the pants if I did I probably sold them to make room for other stuff. I played it so much I learned the quickest way to increase your skills to 100 without the use of master trainers http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif It's kinda cheating but the game had the system there anyway http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Ummm, I'm not too sure. But my character list for WoW is somewhat impressive.

Level 60 Orc Male Rogue
Level 60 Human Female Warrior (10 epics, exalted with Alterac Valley (PvP place))
Level 60 Human Male Paladin (2 epics, one of which is a .4% drop from the final boss in a 3 hour raid)
50 something Troll Male Hunter (This is shared by me and my friend, he mainly levels, I get him gear)
41 Human Male Warrior (completely destroys all in PvP)
37 Human Male Rogue
32 Human Male Mage
31 Nightelf Male Hunter
29 Troll Male Hunter (has literally one-shotted level 29 mages.)

I'll be completely honest. The Warrior (60) and Rogue (60) were given to me. Some guy gave his account info to my friend to keep, to have the account so he gave it to me because he has a level 60 warlock that is in tier 3 (best armor in the game.)

I have atleast 2000 hours of gameplay in. That's almost what? 83 days of play time in the past 11 months? No, I am not fat, I play football 2-3 times a week as a wide receiver with a whole bunch of friends from school.

Next.

Monster Hunter.

Offline I have fought the noble Monoblos several times. Not more than 20, not less than 10. I have a Masters Blade and an extra Monoblos Heart. It's been written down as a 1% drop rate in the guide my cousin has. But honestly, it's a lot less than that. The Masters Blade takes a Monoblos Heart to craft. So I've gotten 2 of them, my cousin is angry at me for it, sucks for him.

On PSO after over 97 runs through the Caves, over something thousand Vulmer kills my Chain Sawd dropped. Kickass.

Hmmm, ok, beating Resident Evil 4 on both difficulties twice, for PS2 and GC.

Before that, I can't recall playing any games worth mentioning.

I'm grounded again so I can't do the things I want to do. But I accomplished some stuff in the past:

In Halo 2, I found the Unnamed Skull, Blind Skull, Famie Skull, Spudnik Skull, and Grunt's birthday party Skull. This is a big deal, because these skulls can only be found on legendary mode, and half the skulls make legendary mode even harder. (>_>)

I found the Scarab Gun in Halo 2 as a usable wepon. Bodies flew when I found it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Almost unlocked everything in Super Smash Bros. I just need Pikmin in my memory card to get the last trophy. So bring on Brawl. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Almost defeated Abyssian in Tales of Symphonia.

My current goals:
Play/Own all of the "Tales of" games including the Japan only titles and the JPN only PS2 version of Tales of Symphonia. All I have is the GCN Tales of Symphonia, but i'll get Abyss for Christmas.

Got 100% on Donkey Kong Country 2. Got every dogtag on MGS2. Unlocked Hunk and Tofu on RE2....though not beaten either of them. Beat God Hand (man that game is hard in the same way Final Fight was hard x_x). I finally beat offline mode on Monster Hunter, troublesome pair, with one of my offline-only characters with no help from online + stuff. Learning how to critical on Onimusha. That elevates it from being simply hack-n-slash to twitch and reflex. Also the fact that they hid a 2-player mode on Dawn of Dreams. That was just chockful-of-awesomeness being able to have me and my bud do coordinated criticals off of our magic attacks, flashing through swaths of enemies. And having the privelage to have a friend of mine let me borrow Suikoden's 1 and 2, man those are great.

And having the good fortune to have played Super Turrican for the SNES and took a chance and played Killer7 which turned out to rock.

And I beat Vagrant Story.

halo 2 legendary is excruciatingly hard the first time you play it but after that it's repetitive. have you been in the scarab at the end of the game. if you fly a banshee right you can get past that field... you can't hijack it unless theres something im missing and also theres no body in it. another thing the scarab gun is jesus and fighting the last battle with a banshee makes it that much easier. these are all possible trust me theyre not easy though... especially the getting in the last scarab. ooh and the giant soccer ball is fun.

I have A LOT, but the greatest have to be; all emblems in BOTH Sonic Adventure 1 & 2... and a rediculous amount of time on PSO and almost owning every single item... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Oh, and completing Sonic Spinball on the Genesis (MegaDrive)... as well as many other insanely hard MegaDrive games... phew!

Getting over 2,000,000 points on Columns on the good ol' Mega Drive http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
And, I somehow jumped off the top of the tallest building on GTA:SA without a scratch.
Getting pwned by Sephiroth on KH2. I never even hit the guy! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Gunstar Heroes: Beat on Expert difficulty, without dying a single time. Also, got the Soul Bonus from the Timeron... *points to title* Oh, and just beating Gunstar Super Heroes on Hard mode. It's that one top-down scrolling mission that's the problem - I come out of all the others, with more HP than I started with.

I've got Shinobi III down; can beat it on Expert difficulty, zero starting shuriken, and without dying a single time.

100% on Kingdom Hearts.

100% on Sonic Adventure 2.

Getting both the Light Wing and Solo Wing on Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Owning a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga.

All A-ranks on NiGHTs.

100% in both Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future.

Showing up the demo recording in Gunvalkyrie. Perfect timing = Virtually perpetual Mobius state.

100% enemy destruction in all levels in Panzer Dragoon Orta, in a single playthrough, on Hard mode.

Super Metroid
1:01 Clear Time - 100% Item Collection.

Finishing Ninja Gaiden on NES without losing one life also gave a nice little sense of accomplishment too.

Finished Devil May Cry 3 on Dante Must Die mode without inflicting bodily harm to anyone in the house.

Achieving Big Boss rating on MGS 1 and 2 and Fox rating in 3.

A couple others include finishing a few RPGs here and there at stupidly low levels, such as Final Fantasy III (VI) on SNES with no one over level 23.

Fun times.

This topic has inspired me to do a speed run of the legend of zelda ocarina of time for the n64. I started today and i am not doing it all in one sitting. So far, I just finished jabu-jabu's Belly and my time is 2 hrs. 20 mins. It's actually really annonying becase the cut scenes take a long time and it drives me crazy. By the wa, if you're wondering "Why is he playing that game...again?" Well, i have to say that I sold my ps2 and gamecube and my 360 had to be shipped to texas for fixing.
