My brother has gotten the Xbox 360 version of PSU and noticed that he couldn't play offline in multiplayer mode, I haven't played the game yet and I was wondering if there is a way to access an offline multiplayer or if there is a patch to enable an offline multiplayer mode.

There is no offline multiplayer. The only multiplayer available is Network Mode.
