GC: Rare Monsters

I've read the bestuary guide, but, I'v e Applied the telepipe trick on Hildebears and hildelts but I think It doesn't affect them. Does the trick works on every single rare monster or a few of them? OR I have to need BIIIIG patience?

Assuming you're playing Episode I and II, it works on all of them. Be patient, young Jedi.

I think you just need patience...it may take a wile before it happens...
I dont do that because it is hard on the system...
but i have a friend who does it acouple times... every now and then

It takes an average of 45 mins to and hour. Sometimes you can get a rare enemy earlier. Do not do the TP trick online because it only works offline.

Also, a while back I was piping for Love Rappy's for an Electro Frame. After about, 350 - odd pipes, one turned up. Finally http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif. My opinion is, finding ANYTHING on the game is all about chance. Let's say, you're searching for a Hildeblue, in the room with 4 Hildebears. Metaphorically, you're throwing 4 dice, each with 512 sides (because that's the rate of finding any rare monster), and on one side of each dice, there is a spot which switches the normal Hildebear with a Hildeblue.

Yeah i think you need to be patient for hildetorrs/hildeblues to appear (trust me i never seen any of them yet).

Out_Kast you some lucky guy finding 2 love rappies in one temple run, i cant even find 1 xD.

I agree with Out_Kast, it's all about chance. For example, some peoples' LV 150 characters haven't seen a Love Rappy yet, but I found one on Normal when I was LV 25, and another one on Normal when I was LV 40.
But mabye Love Rappys become more common the more you see them.....
Ah well.....*does a temple run and finds that all the Rag Rappys have been replaced with Love Rappys*

Coundnt agree with you guys more. Its all chance. I found two hildetorrs. Once I was looking for mil lillies and I could not find it with over 20 runs in caves. Then while i was doing a mission, I found three mil lillies in one room! Two of them gave my sanges and one gave me a knight power+(lol). I am a lv 136 hucast and I have not found even one red slime(forgot what is was called), a love rappy, nor a hildeblue.

the chance is 1/512 for a rare monsters to appear. And this usually takes about thirty minutes if you are piping eight or some enemies, longer if less. Pouily slimes are really seomthing.

piping works on everything. and usually is not to long to see one. but i have gone for 2 hours w/o finding one.

I found 3 nar lilys in 30 mins, piping 5 ob lilys in temple 1 in the room with the bridge. Got 3 addslots for my d-parts. just go for it.

Agghhh!!! I've been through the forest on ultimate well over 50 times and I've never seen a pal rappy OR a hildetorr...wait... the only rare enemy I've ever found on ultimate was a....whatever theyre called...rare ob lily thing... anyone know a reason I can't seem to find one? I also almost never seem to find rare items, is this because I'm a purplenum? Or maybe because my Brother Item stacks? IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY GAMECUBE?!?!?!?...sorry...just help if you can please!

If you have stacked items at you(in your inventory), all Rare drops (unless Photondrop) will be set to 0.

Mags over Lv.200 will also have this affect.

and possibly hacked weaps but im not sure. and online this rule only applies to the red player. if say the green or blue or yellow has a mag level 3 billion its all good. but i think weaps w/ either 4 extra percentages or some odd number like 2% or anything ofer 100% will effect.

If you are stacking, you wont find any rare items at all.
