What's a good PM setup for Ethan?

Playing through single player now, and I was wondering what is the best PM build for Ethan?

I was thinking the "quick and dirty" PM with striking/tech would be good...but I'm not so sure now. Is pure POW better for him since he's basically a super-character? (He can use techs as a hunter if he wants...) Plus Maya Shidow heals him, but I don't know how many story missions you can use her in.

Those who finished or close to finished story help a guy out...

I didn't find me needing bonuses from my PM. I'm chapter 9 and it's been fine (minus some fun sticky situations http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif ). Don't stress about pm for story, it's not that difficult.
