do you still have to pay for a hunters license or is it now (finally?) free to play online?? i know the dreamcast version did eventually.

if you do still have to get a hunters license, would you suggest activating the gamecube version again or going on PSO:BB??

Yes you do have to pay a HL still and the current situation on sega servers is pretty bad. There is almost no one there besides JP and a few EU and US players now. I have been on a few time to verify this.

If you can't get on the other server, then BB would be the best choice.
