When synth'ing a weapon, what determines how much elemental damage it gets? I though it might be the PM level, but mine is a 74 and I'm only getting 10%. Is it a luck thing? If so I wouldn't know because I haven't had luck in 4 days.
Anyone know?

I had'nt lvled my PM at all and i synth'd 5, 5 star knuckles. The knuckles got between 12-22% of the photons i used(dark, ice, light, fire and ground.) it was not my lucky day, not even small sparkles!

I think it's based off of luck. At level 35ish I made a pair of B-Weapons with 38% Light, and ever since (now 50) the closest I've gotten to that was 36% dark.
Edit: By luck I mean random.

I dunno why, but when I picked up my Durandal this morning, it has 44% Earth. It was only a 57% chance of success.
By the same token, my Fire Claymore failed with a success % of 75% >_>

I am beginning to believe that the Luck stat influences the amount of element that is applied to synthed weapons. I've sucessfully crafted nine 5* Weapons and from my observations I can get about 10-22% element with no luck and about 20-32% element with lvl 2 Luck. I haven't had the opportunity to craft when I've had lvl 3 or lvl 1 Luck yet.

When I synthed my Durandal I had 0 luck and got a 50% Element rating on it.
