Is it normal if I found both a Booma's arm and a Hildebear's head on my very first trip through V. Hard Forest? Also, is it actually worth it to go through all those quests to talk to the doc and turn these into weapons?

You'd be surprised how good those weapons are. G-Assasin Sabers are better than a lot of rares. So yes, it's worth it. As for whether finding two enemy parts in one Forest trip, no it's not. But that's a good thing. It's not like rares HAVE to pop up in certain incraments of time.
