GC: Questions on episode 1&2

I just got ep. 1&2 for my cube and noticed that everything in episode 1 is the same as dc. but in multi mode, I cant talk to anyone at pioneer 2 or run missions in the hunters guild.
Is this normal, or is my game srewed up?
Also where is the dressing room? I know they had a dressing room in vers. 2 for dreamcast, but I cant find one on the gamecube version. Do you have to play on a certain dificulty to use it?
Please help me out here.

In multi-mode you can't run quests or talk to anyone. Probably to avoid having the game stop and annoy other players. About the dressing room... I never tried out this function before I returned the game so I can't help you there.

Dressing Room:

Its not an actualy room on pioneer 2.
When you power up the game and chos ewhich character to load, if you have 10,000 meseta on your persons, then instead of just delete, recreate, select there will be "Dressing Room". You can only change your costume and your hair though.
