How come the highest number of users is not updating itself? Previously, it was 2711 on October 27, 2005 at 18:20. But now there are way more than 2711.

Doesn't work that way. It means the highest number of users on at a time ever. So there was a moment where there were 2711 users on PSOW simultaniously.

Who's Online, 393 user(s) active in the past 15 minutes

I doubt that there were like 3000 people on earlier.

There have been 2880 members active in the past week.

Or all Users that was active in the past week was online during the past 15 mins.

The 2711 number refers to the highest number of members that were online within a 15 minute time period.
