Because Mega Man never had:
- A "Find the Emeralds" level
- A evil version of himself, that's so "UBAR H4RDC0R3" that he slides around and uses guns
- An anime where he hangs out with an 8-year old boy
- A "Find the Emeralds" level
- A "Mega Man Heroes" Game
- A "Find the Emeralds" level
- A villain who's name mysteriously changed from Robotnik to Eggman through the years.

Did I mention a "Find the Emeralds" level?

Though I am looking forward to that new Sonic game for 360 and PS3, the screens look really nice.
