View Full Version : Belts's Evergrowing List of Item Drops (Update 11-06-06)

For my own referance, I have been keeping track of what items I get, and how many, for certain runs. I try to do this as much as possible to make it more and more accurate, but lately I haven't done it as much.

Here's how it works (pretty self explanitory, actually.) Every time I see a rare pop, even if I don't get it, I record it as a drop. With normal items, I can only record what I get. The higher the number to the right of an item, in theory, the more common it is.

I have done each of these about 3-10 times, so they are not very accurate yet, but helpful at least.

Rares are listed at the top, with stars next to the name.

Cool.... Will be nice once all the drops are known.

I can help with this if need be. I think at one point we did something similar w/PSO I & II when it came out for GC. Shouldn't we note if it was an enemy drop or from a box? Probably makes a difference, especially at higher ranks where some stuff will only drop from the boss boxes, etc.

I didn't note whether it was from a box or enemy, because I don't know of anyone who passes up either.

I could though.

I finally got to do an A Rank dragon mission today, and noticed a lot of new drops. I'll get some of those in later.

Fails for not taking drop sources into consideration. D:

Like I said, I made this for my own reference and decided to be nice enough to share. If it's not suitable for you, then don't worry about it and move on.

I don't see why it matters if it's from a box or an enemy, anyway. You can't run through a mission and just get the boxes, you have to kill enemies. And skipping boxes is pretty pointless, as they are never much out of the way.

Because some people actually play in dumb 'give finder' rooms where hunters get all of the enemy drops.

Ah, I forgot about that. I don't understand why ANYONE would want to play give finder. The ONLY reason would be that they are an item whore and believe they can beat people to it.

I do not play give finder. This is not aimed for the give finder folk.

Errr, thats not true by a long shot.. I very often use my force to run into Give Finder games with dumbass hunters who think they can get all the item drops first.. I usually do a -very- good amount of ass-kicking and snag 80-90% of the items on top of it. I usually get kicked out of the party for it as well, which I usually expect. I just like to show the idiots that they arent going to get all the drops just because they are a hunter.

(Although that is not the reason most people do give finder games.. -Most- people just dont care and want to get into missions as quickly as possible and others actually -prefer- give finder since ANYONE can get a fair share of items, regardless of class. And by fair share, I mean sometimes the hunter will get 9/10 of the items and sometimes the force will)

Personally I prefer Set in Order, and only in my attempts to screw with said hunters have I realized why people use it. Overall, 'Give finder' is the most popular choice though and looks like it will likely remain that way. If you really think it's just because Hunter's get more item drops, than take a run with my force sometime on Give finder and I'll show you just how wrong that is..
