Microsoft has just presented in Tokyo the details launching of Xbox Live in Japan. As to mean that the play on line via Xbox is massively constant in Japan, Microsoft announces that 39 Nipponese editors work on 47 titles compatible with its on-line platform. Xbox Live will be launched in the archipelago this autumn and following the example American market, the Nipponese players will have to buy the kit of connection (compound of software and surely of Xbox Communicator) for 54,5 dollars, annual subscription included. Phantasy Star Online is sold in bundle with the kit!!. Spike Out X-treme, a beat' EM up of Sega which connait since 1998 a great success in the rooms of arcade will be gild and already compatible Xbox Live!! But it is not all: Dino Crisis 3 of Capcom, Crimson Sea de Koei, DOA 3 Xtream Beach Volleyball are presented like also compatible!!! In same time, Microsoft announced that it would start to sell its plays via Xbox Live. The tests of Xbox Live begin at the end of June and ms Japan announces proudly that all the diponibles plays on Xbox will be compatible with Xbox Live within 5 years.

The press conference of Microsoft was led in turn by Mr. Hiroshi Oura, the general manager of ms Japan and Mr. Koide Masahiro head of the department network for Xbox. Mr. Oura presented the commercial part (cf 1st part) of Xbox Live while Mr. Masahiro, shouldered by a live demonstration of Phantasy Star Online of Mr. Naka, stuck has to show the system effectiveness Xbox Live and his technological advance incarn?y Xbox Communicator. Indeed, the characteristics of Xbox Communicator were largely proposed in this demonstration: deformation of the voice of the three players (Naka, Masahiro...), control of the character by vocal order (without touching with the pad to even deliver itself to the combat!!). The imposing one and little practises lever-keyboard of Final Fantasy XI on PS2 is returned to the oubliettes...
