Akira Live Action Movie!

The director behind Blade (cant remember his name at the mo) is interested in making a live action version of Akira! He has said hes been interested in comics and animation for a long time and is really interested in bringing Akira to the big screen in live action form. It wont be out any time soon though as hes just started pre production on his next movie.

The guy on Sci Fi channels anime night seemed pretty excited about this. Lets just hope he doesnt mess it up if he does make it.

nah im playing...but the movie is great

Well it had a stupid plot. The only part I liked was when that one Infected guy(forgot all the name's)pulled that red cape like thing and faced the army with that kick ass music.

Plus I just cant picture all of the demented stuff they had in it.

I didn't much care for the anime, but i'll still hope the live movie is cool.

It'll probably REALLY make me want Kaneda's bike! >_<
