YEA! anyone here ever heard the god of bass play? well cheg out Victor Wooten trust me he's good.

I have never liked Wooten as a bassist. His style just is not a favorite of mine. It sounds like he is playing an acoustic guitar in most of the things he plays. On top of that it never looks like he likes what he is doing and seems so uninteresting and boring.

From a technical perspective I have a lot of respect for Vic Wooten, he is an amazing player no doubt about that

The problem I have with him though is that a lot of the time his playing just seems to be showing off rather than something I can enjoy listening to. As skillful as he is for playing as he does, a lot of his music just bores me after a few minutes. I doubt anyone who isn't a bass player can really appreciate anything he does either

So yeah, I personally can't stand to listen to him all that often... but he is very good

Well I think Victor Wooten is pretty cool. Espcially with Fleck's banjo playin'.

You gentlemen seem to have excelent taste in music, I am in the Primus sucks camp as well.

he is my bass hero so you guys can have your opinion. I quite enjoy his music accually. Me and my bass guitar has some funktastic sounds to it. so.... theres my little diddy
