Hello, all. Just joined PSO last night. Any advice for a newcomer? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

The best advice I can tell you..is to read the Official Forum Rules (http://www.pso-world.com/faq.php?myfaq=yes&id_cat=9&categories=Forum), and to follow them. =)

As for joining PSOW, welcome to the community! Glad to see new members sign up. I hope you meet alot of people here and have some fun while you're at it.

Maybe see you on the servers =D

Awesome, thanks ABDUR! You seem like a pretty active mod. One forum question I have though; do most people here use their character name to post? I mean, my name in the game is MikeRSG, but I know some people have multiple characters...

you can add your character info in your account settings. Please go to http://www.pso-world.com/user.php

Some people use their PSO character name, some people don't

Have fun posting, and feel free to join right in the ongoing discussions!!

And don't forget the smilies.

As lolita said, you can use your account info for it.

For my main character, this is also my PSOW name. ABDUR101 the HUcast.

But we're all active actually, there's alot of work being done, so keep looking for updates to the site =)

"But we're all active actually,"

Sorry, didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif This seems like a nice community. If you folks need any help, let me know. I write for a couple sites now, so I can certainly volunteer those skills:

My Animal Crossing Site (http://www.animalmafia.com)

My recent article for RSG (http://www.robotstreetgang.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=51&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0)

Err, yeah, there are inactive members. But we're talking about the mods. =)

All the mods are pretty active, which is a great thing. =D

Sorry. Didn't mean to start controversy.

Say, do you have to be in the same room as someone to give them a guild card?

all our mods are active. all listed mods are active mods. they might not be so vocal when doing their job, but they're all active. gideon and tommeeboy are site owners and are listed respectfully.

you need to be in the same lobby or game as the person receiving the guild card.

feel free to write any PSO related articles, submit them to us and we'll post them on the site if they're good ^_^

and judging from your site and article, they should be good. i'm looking forward to seeing some from you! your animal crossing site looks great, i love it.

Welcome Mike! Great to have a newcomer aboard.

You can always look me up if you want a game. I can be found on the PSOW block (Anteres http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cool.gif and if I am not there, you can try 7 or 9 of the same ship. I am always looking for some new players to game with.

I am new as of yesterday as well. I've visited this sight a million times and gotten sucked into reading some very lengthy threads. Anyway, I'm glad I'm finally a member and hope to see you all in game.

I had some limited success meeting people last night. I don't know how I'd go about hooking up with any of you unless it was pre-arranged. I was under the impression you could just look someone's name up and send them a mail. Turns out you have to be in the same room with them.

Sorry for the stupid question, but which block in Anteres is the PSOW block?

Also, thanks Rune. I'll definitely look for you.

We'd love to have you write some articles, Mike.

Another person from the L.A. area. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

The people on Antares 8 are pretty welcoming. Try hopping in some open games when you're there.

Raist, I'll be seeing you online, too. Hi!

Last stupid question, I promise. People here are in the GC version, right? Or are you telling me to go to Anteres 8 in the DC version 2 one?

Neo-Zenji
Nov 19, 2002, 06:18 PM
Just Go to both. I think they mean GC version though.

Antares 8 is on the GC version. I think most people have migrated from DC to GC.
