Hey, I want to get an idea of what rent is in a few areas, so lemme know what it is in yours.

So whats the average rent for a 1 bedroom apartment there. (or if thats not the sort of thing available there, gimme the rent for something else).

So for example:

Orange County, California: $1000.00 for 1 bedroom.

2 Bedroom in Reading(I think it was 15th or 25th on most dangerous cities in US) is about 500 a month I think. Pretty big too.

My mom is buying this house. 3 Bedroom 1250 sq ft condo. 1600/month. My friend's apartment is 2 bedroom, 800 sq ft, and he pays 1200 a month.

Thousand oaks is next to us and they cost even more. On the other side of us on the 101 freeway is Oxnard. It has one of the highest murders/capita rates in the country. It's still expensive to live there even. Rent for that same said apartment would still be like 800 a month.

Typical rent for a 1 bedroom is about 800 dollars here, it's around 600 for a studio. God, living is expensive. ._.

Merced, California: ~$700/month - 2 bedrooms, spacious, nice neighborhood with palm trees all over the place.

Fresno, California: $650/month - 2 bedrooms, cramped, prostitutes within two blocks, large danger of your vehicle being broken into.

Fresno, California: $810/month - 2 bedrooms, reasonably sized, good neighborhood.

All of this information is accurate within 1 year, Merced information is current.

I know from experience, that apparently the city of Thousand Oaks would rather have an abandoned K-Mart than an active Home Depot. Expect a new Home Depot out there sometime within the next five to ten years; the land has already been bought.

A 2 bedroom, with utilities and a huge living room, nice bathroom and moderate kitchen is under 500 a month. That's in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
