What kind of music do you listen to, while playing?

I have 2 playlists.

1. MegaMan 8/Annivesary Remix/ZX OST's
2. .hack//GU OST

Yes, both are love, when playing PSU <3

Uh, usually nothing except for the game's music. Though ocassionally I'll turn on my DS with the PScollection in it and listen to some classic PS music. PS1 battle music fits Parum's feilds pretty well actually.

I can't stand game sound tracks to be honest. Crappy techno isn't my style. Generally some yummy yummy metal. Trivium, Arch Enemy, Slayer, Sabbath, Metallica, Black Dalia Murder, etc etc... with the occasional One Winged Angel, Requiem of a Dream, Liberi Fatali and things of that nature...they make every battle over dramatic http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif it makes killing a Pannon seem like an epic struggle for all the cosmos.

I've been listening to HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR lately while playing. I don't really try and listen to music that fits with the game, there is game music already for that. I just listen to whatever I feel like listening to at the moment.

MegaMan music has that Sci-Fi techno feel that PSU/PSO has though, and it's actually good. Upbeat, sometimes mellow, but always energetic.

It's not really any sort of album I play whenever I start a specific game, but there were a few times when I got a new CD about the same time I started playing a new game. Therefore, whenever a song from that album plays, it reminds me of that game, even if I haven't played that game and album together in a long, long time.

The best example of this would probably be Switchfoot's The Beautiful Letdown and Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

And off-topic: I'm not sure what H&MC is, but isn't Rider from Fate/stay night?

Actually saw Isis live a few months ago, was amazing, I was right infront of em next to the speakers, so brutally heavy and loud.

I listen to Rock, Heavy Metal, and J-Pop. As of what I listen to while gaming, I depends on the game. Like if i'm playing a japanese game, I listen to J-pop.

No-one mentioned the gods of funk though, Red Hot Chili Peppers. -.-. Well i listen to that and all of my other asorted music not not not including metal. I would say RHCP, Farboy slim, fischerspooner, and modest mouse. Listen to these mad beats and you'll be hooked.

I would listen to the best of music, whether it's TV on the Radio, The Fiery Furnaces, Radiohead, David Bowie, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Pagan's Mind, Nektar, Pink Floyd, Venetian Snares, as well as many other bands.

Well, I only played PSU once, and I kinda just listened to the game music. =/

My brother recently returned home, and with him came his shiny SACD player, and equally bright surround sound system. So while playing the game I've been enjoying 5.1 music with amazing quality. Alittle Nine Inch Nails, alittle David Bowie, and even Peter Gabriels. And when I get bored of that, I just through in something else...Talking Heads in 5.1 is good too.

Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquillity, At The Gates, Kalmah, Decapitated, In Flames (screw come clarity >:/ ), and Monstrosity.

I may listen to other stuff like Dethklok (lol), Buckethead, Nightwish, and other stuff, but it's all good.

Nah. The in-game music is all I'd listen to, because it always compliments what you're doing. You try playing some Barbie game while listening to Cradle of Filth (not that I like them, or that I play Barbie games either... *shifty eyes* http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif ). Infact, that would actually be quite funny.
