I don't know whats wrong with my control pad. Everytime I tried to switch my weapon it kept saying hello WTF!?

...did you say hello back to your weapon? No? You are very rude. If I was that controller I most definately would have mouthed off to you. >:/

Try unplugging it and restarting the system. Sometimes my buttons and analog sticks get stuck pressed or pushed forward and the only remedy is a restart. Make certain they are in neutral position and the buttons aren't currently held down when you do so.
