Photon Drop

What does a photon drop do? I have a friend whos playing GC offline and he found one and doesnt know what it does. I played GC and had these I think but I tottally forgot by now. anyone know?

It's only usable online in a special Quest (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=772)

So offline it's only worth it's 1k meseta.

But cause it's stackable to 99 it's a good backup of Mesetas.

No, Photon Drops can be stacked up to x99 by normal means.

Anyway, when you find any of them, it is best to save them even though they won't do much if you are offline only. They are not worth selling for 1000 meseta unless you already have 99 of them.

... i do the same thing but for the reason that if i get online i can use them but seeing as that will never happen ... mabey i might just get 99 and keep them as a meseta back up just incase.

I hate photon drops. those things appear about every other enemy. I got 99x legitly...but they're worthless offline...

I like Photon Drops online. You can get cool stuff with them. YOu can put stats on your wepons up to 100% makes them stronger. You can get diffrent things to up grade you armer and wepons. Like the stink frame with the Parasic Cell type D you get from the gallin shop on line you can make the stink frame in to the Virus Amor:lafuteria. That is cool. If you can go on line the Photon drops are werth allot.

Well offline it doesnt do nothing but once your online it lets you buy stuff with them such as weapons (Great) - All i know is you can get rika's claw what my friend is after desperately.

I know that. But he is saying you can do that offline and make wepons. What are you talking about offline?

You can't make weapons from Photon Drops. However, you can add %'s to them online. Perhaps that's what he meant, is it?

On PSO plus he maybe talking about which is offline, seeming as everyone was so hasty in drawing up conclusions, I believe you can get the S-Ranks offline on PSO plus and you get to decide the Specials that it has using ?West/East? tower so technically it is making a weapon i guess.

here in ND USA it's hard to find NOT plus so i doubt plus is going to happen but say i do. can i keep my chars and trans fer them to plus i mean 300 + hours dont seem like alot to some but i'd rather not do that again. and im lev 122 so.... you see my point?

You do have to do East Tower to get the option to add "Elements" to the S-Rank weapons
But this can only be done in Gallon's Shop.
Which is online only, no matter at which version you play.
