View Full Version : Need a Video Maker

I downloaded a bunch of High Def videos to make into a kind of teaser trailer for work leading up to the launch of the PS3 and Wii. However, when I load those videos into the video maker that came with my computer [windows movie maker], it dumbs down the quality from High Def to...Medium-Low Def.

I was hoping someone could provide me with a name or two of a video maker that I could use that won't dumb the quality of the videos down [it's kind of important, since parts of the videos talk about how HD is imperative in the next-gen gaming.]

Thanks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Edit: Not only do i need to edit the videos, i need to combine them into one long video. Thanks.

Yes, but will they ruin the HD quality of the videos?

V-Dub has so much graphics processing power it can INCREASE the resolution of films.

2 gigs of .mpg can become 40 gigs of .avi, if you're not careful.

However, I use V-dub (modded and illegal, highly) for mainly individual clip editing, followed by WMM for splicing.

I'm not fully aware of the true powers of VDub. It may splice together

Also there are probably videoediting software compatable computers at school, if you go to school... Adobe Premiere maybe?

Maybe even something from Macromedia you could trial.

If you want something other than freeware get Adobe Premiere 2.0....and if you want professional, go with Avid (though your PC may not run it, and its definitely only if you're serious about this).
