I don't know anything about PSOBB, but the game is 100% online? there is any way to play it offline?

it's online only, but in the lobby - create your game, choose 'one player' - (in game mode - i think). It's sort of like playing it offline - i did when I had BB - & didn't need any mods. One player is usefull for when you're low level. Because when you want to unlock the next area(s) you'll need to complete all Principal Quests. And you'll have to do those out of 'One Player'. (at least for EP 1) If you're going for the other Episodes, I'm sure it's similar.
