for those of you with a Wii, give te rest of us an idea of how good the controller is, how great the games are, and your stupid Wii puns.

Does your hand hurt after playing with your Wii all night? ...hehehehe....

When you set the damn thing up, make sure your fragile line connecting the sensor to the Wii is out of the way and could not get entangled or be pressured.

Stuff fell on ours and it broke. It was attacked at weak spot for massive damage!!! :<<<<

edit: The thing itself is very adorable. I am never the one for ginormous stuff. The Wii is tiny, and the wii-mode itself is also tiny and light and comfy to hold.

Well, after calling every store and visiting every "respectable" online site; I still have not been able to find a Wii to call my own.

However, I did manage to snag one of the "Wiimotes". (Nun-chucks were sold out)

The controller is very seksi, and feels right at home the moment you hold it. Seriously, I felt like I'd been playing with it for years.

On a side note, I got the new NP Issue today. It is the devil, all the Zelda stuff is spoilers! D: (I dare not read the article, but the piccies are plenty.)

Navi- I'm sorry to hear about the breaking of your things. ;-;

Unfortunately, I've been sick for the launch, and haven't been able to get one...

My brother got one, though, and recorded a video of the Wii Sports Bowling, and sent that to me. Looks pretty inreresting... Can't wait to get my hands on a Wii.

... >_>

Besides Navi, am I the only one who got one? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

I love it. Wii sports is fun to play, especially when you invite your friends over and just kick it up with a few rounds of boxing. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif The whole system is great. Wifi right out of the box. Hardly had to set anything up besides my WEP key.

Me and my friend have our Wii's connected by the Wii codes, and we can mail each other. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif You could imagine the hilarity.

the controls are very easy to use and it's a lot of fun.

And Zelda is lots of fun.

It's great! I like Wii sports better than I like Zelda twilight princess, at the moment, although I can see Wii sports getting old pretty fast.

The controlls are intuitive, and the boxing WAS a workout after a number of rounds. Golf is good. Bowling took a little getting used to. Baseball was fun. Tennis was pretty lame, but yeah. I made the Mii character go nuts with the racket on the court. I switched it to the excercise program on Wii Sports, and had a good time with that.

The controller and nunchuck are very comfortable in my hands, and the length of the wire between them gives you a lot of room to spread out and relax while you're playing.

The classic controller is also comfortable in my hands, although there won't be any games to use it for until the end of this year, or the beginning of the next, which kind of sucks.

The weather channel on it wasn't up and running yet yesterday. Trying to access the shopping channel made the Wii freeze up. I had to unplug it after about a half hour in order to get it going again. This bothers me, as it's a brand new product, and I found a big problem with it within the first two hours of starting it up.

The Mii parade is lame. Nobody else is in there, even though I have my Wii on 24 hour connect, and my Mii set to travel so it can visit other people's Wiis.

The game I bought with it is Zelda. It's... different. That's all I can say about it right now. I played it all for twelve minutes yesterday before I got bored.

I put in PSO GC, and tried to play that. It does play offline just fine, although the graphics were slightly grainy looking. Maybe they were always like that though, and I just didn't notice. Despite the always on connection to the Wii, you can't play the O part of PSO. The game checks the system for an adapter immediately, and kicks you back to the start screen. This is entirely confusing, because the Wii does fully support all the keys on the ASCII keyboard controller that I've been using for PSO since January 2003.

The question is, why would the Wii support all the keys for typing, and allow me to type offline, when I can't do so in multiplayer offline? I don't know if it's the software that supports the keyboard, or what. At the moment, I'm left with the realization that I can type to myself offline, and have fun with that where nobody else can see.

I'm looking forward to new games for the Wii. Zelda LOOKS interesting, from what I've seen so far, but Link looks like a chick in this edition, which uh.. appeals to some audiences, I suppose. I'm not really into his character this time around.

I guess no one will put up pictures of their Wii/Wii gameplay. Oh well. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

I myself want the Wii badly, but I'm concedoring going into my Wii fund to buy PSU. But, if I could I want to wait until it comes out in black (Nintendo does this to me all the time http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rant.gif ).

Well, I have good news and bad news.

Good news: I got the Twilight Princess!

Bad news: I don't have a Wii BECAUSE someone stole my wallet. I mean, really. I was lucky to get TP cuz the guys at GameStop were able to find my name in the database (my receipts were in my wallet). I lost $5 for my Wii pre-order, but whatever. There was another $260 in there, too. :|

Anyways, trypticon;
You can't use the keyboard on offline multiplayer....period.

Not even on the GCN.

uh.. what the hell are you talking about? You can use the controller portion of it, just not the keys, which I was fully aware of beforehand.

To Raymaster: Don't waste your money on PSU. It sucks, bad. If you're expecting a good time from it, you'll be disappointed, unless you've never played an online game before. If you want PSU, give it six months so you can get a bunch of updates right away. As it is, it's a waste of money to purchase, and pay monthly for.

Don't have it...
Hopefully they will do a quick shipment.

And PSU is fun, and the bunch of updates are called "Neudaiz", and "Moatoob" lol.

So I'll be ok if I stay out of WiiConnect24?

My wii is fine even with the update never have it froze or any error messages yet and it's on the WiiConnect 24 setting.

That news is not good. I don't know if the thing is broken or not. I don't get a black screen, just a connectoin screen that doesn't stop, which could be due to high traffic.

Guess I'll try again a few more times over the next couple of days.

If I were in your position, ToH, I'd go down to the shop you bought it from and just have a chat with someone there. Maybe they'll know where it's going.

And this sucker's in the UK, so I have to wait 2 more weeks. *sniffle*

My wii is teh secsi. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

TP is, of course, incredible. I have some small nitpicky problems with the game (problems that for the most part were around in WW that haven't changed coming to TP, and having nothing to do with graphics). But I am really just a big critic, so having a few small nitpicky problems is more than expected. It should also be said that TP is very dark for a Zelda game http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Wii sports is pretty fun. It's incredibly simple though, which is both it's biggest fault and it's biggest attraction. I like Wii golf and bowling alot. I did not try Wii baseball. Wii tennis was allright, but the lack of ability to control your character's movement was bothersome to me. Can't wait to see an original Tennis outing made for Wii (Bring on Mario Tennis Wii XD). I did not like Wii boxing at all...

Yay! My Wii isn't broken, after all. It was just getting bogged down by a ton of internet traffic when trying to access the shopping network. I was able to get onto it in a matter of seconds this morning before I went to work.

I'm happy now.

I finally got some more money for my Wii fund. Now I'm only $206 from getting a Wii. And the fact that I need $50 more for Twilight Princess doesn't really help niether. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

I got a Wii, it's great great fun.

Trauma Center (never played on DS so it's new to me) is awesome. Probably my favorite game I picked up ATM. (But then again, I haven't been playing Zelda much either <_<) Red Steel is pretty good, took a while to get used too.
Wii sports is a great party game, I have like 15 Mii. So fun.

Anyone know went the 1st online games are coming out?
