Quick question

Although I can turn off my slim PS2, the red light is still on while it's plugged in. I was told if I left it plugged in, it'd overheat, and die fast.

Is this true? I came home to feel if it was hot or something and it was definately not, I mean, it STARTED getting hot after my 4 hour or so PSU rampage, but definately not enough to be worried.

Should I unplug my PS2 whenever I'm not using it?

Where did you hear this? The red light is simular to your PC monitors orange/standby light. Its doing nothing. Like googles!

What kind of bull is that? It's in idle mode when it's red, so nothing inside is moving.

Thanks for the heads up

(when i said "on for 10 hours" i meant litterally on, not just idle)

Just turn it off at the mains and help save the environment.
