Asheron's Crap 2

So how is Asheron's call 2? I heard a lot of beta players complain how much this game was dumbed down (obviously they're AC veterans), and is too easy. And so far, no positive remarks, and the game looks awfully unpopular on different forums.

Couple weeks ago, I thought i heard some people on PSOW saying they got admitted in the AC2 beta. Well what did you think? Good? bad? I'm itching for an MMORPG (never played one, unfortunetly), and AC2 is just around the corner, comming out tomorrow.

I'm sure most of you didn't play, so anyone have some thoughts about the game? anyone getting it?

Well, it looks as if you need a super-computer to run it. Something I dotn have.

If you want a MMORPG, I suggest Anarchy Online, great game.

I was in the beta, even though I haven't played the first one.

It's the one game that got old faster than Morrowind.

Not onlyis it extremely boring in the fact that there's almost nothing to do (at all, except kill monsters), no real storyline except everybody went underground if they didn't want to die or something like that. Not to mention there's not a single NPC (other than monsters) in the entire game, meaning you'll have to wait until you find somebody who can craft items, and gold has very little value (nowhere to spend it).

As for the graphics, they're pretty decent, especially considering how completely boring the rest of the game is. It doesn't need a super rig to run it, my computer is running at 1.2 GHz AMD AthlonXP, 512 MB DDR RAM, and a GeForce 4 Ti 4400 and it got a good 40-60 fps outside scoping the landscape (default detail settings, 4xS Antialiasing). I wouldn't waste my money on it, save it for something else... like Star Wars Galaxies (which looks pretty damn fun).

i was in the beta and hated it. it was fun for about the first 10 lvls then there was NOTHING eles to do except kill monsters. no NPC's does not make a good concept for a game. graphics are good but that isnt enough to get the game.
