...but i am getting the same connection errors as i was getting with the BETA version, i am astonished.. Basically it means i cannot get online with this game UNLESS i yet again tamper with the settings and add some random DNS servers.. WHAT ARE SEGA PLAYING AT!!??

Error 51?

It's the error where it says that the servers are undergoing maintenance. You keep retrying and it would never let you in. You have to add your own DNS servers to rectify this.

I used to have that problem on my Ps2, but this last update fixed it I guess (Moatoob update). I haven't had that error message since.

Yah error 51 is cruel. I have been using a macbook with bootcamp installed, cuz my PC (which is infinitely better) Gets 51. It has something to do with me having Media Center I think. Good Luck though, check out PSU message boards, they have lotsa info regarding that.

"Haha. You know what this reminds me of? The old 4.2.2.1 / 4.2.2.2 DNS swap for using freebie ISPs to connect the Dreamcast for PSO sessions. Don't tell me this is the same thing? x3

Might want to check the technical support forum at the official PSU Sega site, they can likely tell you better than we can at this point. Probably a lot of other new players are getting this as well so there should be lots of solutions floating around.

Error 51 is caused by security software interfering on your ports. Specifically, LSPs. Spybot has a function that checks whats interfering, and then you can just remove the program that uses those files. Theres a whole thing about 51 on Sega's forums.
