After researching armor coming out in future updates I decided I would share my findings and give my opinion of which one's you should maybe lean towards. Of course this is just one persons opinion. This thread is made for those Hunter and Ranger classes that like to always have an ARM and EXTRA slot to add unit attachments.

Other Attachments
Head: Sta / Mind (+30 MST.)
Body: Mega / Wall (+14 DFP, +14 EVP)

All of the following armor have an Arm and Extra slot. Those that also have a Head or Body slot would be equipped with the Sta / Mind, and Mega / Wall.

Totals after equipping Head and Body Attachments

Teroline(6):
Cost = 95,000
DFP 95 (+14) = 109
EVP 143 (+14) = 157
MST = 122
RES = 25% Lightning

Hardline(7):
Cost = 210,000
DFP = 116
EVP = 163
MST = 143
RES = 31% Fire

As you can see there isn't a big leap between Teroline and Hardline armor because the Teroline has a body slot to equip the Mega / Wall. All of Hardline's stats are "slightly" better but its your decision whether it justifies an additional 115k from your wallet. Unless your a big fan of fire resistance then you may as well wait untill you can afford something next tier. A Teroline will last you a very long time as a Hunter/Ranger.

Rabol Rad(8):
Cost = Crafted
DFP 114 (+14) = 128
EVP 230 (+14) = 244
MST = 132
RES = N/A

Sori-senba(8):
Cost = 360,000
DFP 155 (+14) = 169
EVP 167 (+14) = 181
MST 135 (+30) = 165
RES = __% Ice

Crimsonline(9):
Cost = Crafted
DFP 127 (+14) = 141
EVP 219 (+14) = 233
MST = 168
RES = N/A

The biggest decision will be which 8 - 9 star armor to get. Let's start by removing the most unlikely candidate, the Rabol Rad. Unless you plan on having the most evasion possible for your character, then the added MST and DFP of Crimsonline would be more beneficial. Crimsonlines EVP is not much lower either.

The 8 star Sori-senba has four open slots. Now you may have not been a big Yohmei armor fan before, but after adding +30 MST to your head slot, you are now competing with GRM's 9 star armor. Furthemore, should an even better Head Unit become available you will even surpass GRM's high MST. And this is what GRM's are known for.

Will you spend 360,000 meseta for the 8 star Sori-senba with a higher DFP.

Or will you spend 600,000+ meseta for a player crafted 9 star Crimsonline with a higher EVP.

The Sori-senba has 28 more DFP then Crimsonline.
The Crimsonline has 52 more EVP then Sori-senba.
Both have an equal MST level.

*Sori does have the potential to surpass this MST with better Head Units*

The sori looks pretty good considering the strongest TAP attachment bumps you up a 110 points.
You say it has four slots? That's just Fo armor right there, plain and simple, my wartecher-to-be would love it too.

Great compilation. Really got me thinking how much money I'll need to save up. Out of all the Amored Cores though, I'd take Nineball with the old school Karasawa.

I would like to say that I will choose Sori-Senba but having a Crimsonline will give you bragging rights. "OMFG, where did you get your Crimsonline???" Lol, ;p...

Sure, you don't get an Arm slot, but who cares?

Also, to take a leaf out of the OP's book, let's see what the armors look like with the best FO-based gear that I can think of.

Head: Me/Quick (or Haru/Quick, if you prefer)
Arm: Hell, I don't know, we don't use Arm crap anyways - How about a Mega/Knight?
Body: Tero/Legs
Extra: Me/HP Restore

Sori-senba:
TP: -30 (or -100 with Haru/Quick)
DFP: 155
EVP: 233 (167 + 66)
MST: 135
ATP: 25
ATA: 15

Hiragi-senba:
TP: 70 (or 0 with Haru/Quick)
DFP: 160
EVP: 220 (154 + 66)
MST: 132
ATP: 0
ATA: 0

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think that 100 TP is worth giving up for 25 ATP, 15 ATA, and 3 MST. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

lol remedy, way off topic there.

the guy said in the first post this thread was about hunter/ranger's not forces.

of course we are gonna get the fo only armor, thats why its fo only.
360k... wow I think I can manage that if I can stop raising my tech PM... but since I started I must finish.

also the hirabi-senba can not be purchased at the npc :/ so expect it to be very very expensive from a player shop. dont know if the board is at the npc or not, considering its nature i bet its a rare drop board.

Consider this. Rabol Rad and Crimsonline are set armors. That is, you use Mukrad spear, or Crimson saber along with their respective armors, your attack power, defense and accuracy will jump up 25% (Possibly making FGs the most overpowered melee class period, due to Crimson being S Grade weapon, and Gravity Strike being so useful. Adding 25% more attack to that would be soooo unfair to the opposition...)

Casts have the highest base def and lowest base evp stats, so a crimsonline actually looks a bit more appealing to me. However a Crimsonline's probably going to cost like twice as much, and the increase in EVP over the Sori isn't enough to justify that much cost.
