Force help

Man I have'nt been here in ages http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif anyway, got PSU after loving PSO, about to go online this week when the necesary equipment arrives and is setup, so I started a force character offline extra mode just to get a feel for it, I bought 2 staffs so I could chuck different techs on each and for some reason it would'nt work, what ever I equipped tech wise to one staff, the other was exactly the same and was not useable in combat. Is this supposed to happen? If so, is there any way around ot since pp usage is huge with techs at first and one staff just is'nt gonna last http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

did you add both staffs to your action pallet?

and then go to your items select them and link the techs you want to use to each one individually?

thats about as much as I can help you because what you said is sort of confusing.

Yep added both to the pallet then tried to link the techs, but what I linked to one was automtically setup for the other (Yes I added both staffs seperatly on the action pallet, did@nt do anything noobie link add same one twice or one over the other http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

I have a tendancy when I am setting up spells really fast for an area and im in a party already to go to a weapon (say my 2 canes)

Link the 2 spells I need to it, but not exit all the way out to the item selection screen and select the 2nd can but end up reselecting the 1st one again because I was moving too fast and over write the techs on the first one.

I did this a few times when I was new.

Try doing this. When you go to add the rod (or whatever weapon) to the action pallete, it shows you what Photon Arts are on that weapon. I know that sometimes I get confused with my setup because of the way it shows what PAs are equipped.

But it is possible to have 2 staffs or 2 wands or whatever, that are identicle, but put different techs on them and have both in the action pallet? Was'nt sure if I had made a mistake some how (pretty sure I had'nt though) or if its just not possible

You can carry around identical weapons and put whatever tech combos you want on them - maybe like others have said, it was just a mistake? (I do it often...)
